When
Kenya was 5 months old she became very ill and I rushed her to my vet
who took excellent care of her, but while she was there they placed her
on a heater to maintain her body temperature which had dropped too low.
In an extremely rare occurrence, the heater gave Kenya 2nd and 3rd
degree burns over most of her belly, left side, and a small area on her
right side. Kenya bravely battled the pain, while remaining a wonderful,
loyal, happy, cheerful, loving dog even though she was in terrible pain
and had to undergo weeks and weeks of burn treatment. With her
exceptional temperament, good conformation and wonderful disposition we
knew she was the kind of Min Pin which would have superior puppies.
Although due to the scarring from her terrible ordeal Kenya no longer
qualified as a show dog, she easily could have and I knew she'd produce
show ring quality puppies as well as fabulous family pets! Kenya a a
medium sized Min Pin within the show guidelines for height and weight.
She is 11 1/2" at the shoulder and weighing about 9lbs when not pregnant
with puppies. |

Philli is an AKC registered, Chocolate/rust (dilute factored), Min
Pin. Phili has gorgeous, classic Min Pin
conformation, her disposition is stellar, and her coat and coloring
is luxurious! Philli is a special part of
our family. She is a daughter of our own wonderful
Kenya and sired by a small, refined, blue/rust male named Nazareth. Philli has a good depth of
chest, short back and with the much desired "hackney" gait. Philli is an
incredibly sweet girl and we love the high quality puppies she produces for us. |

Chip is a
Chocolate/rust, AKC registered male. He is our resident male breeding
dog. He has a very nice disposition, he is VERY small (4 lbs), he is
refined without being too
narrow, nice bodied and factored for all colors. He has natural standing
ears. His sire is a blue/tan. He produces quality puppies of all colors. He is deeply bonded to us and he went from a
frightened, withdrawn, depressed and anxious dog to a very warm, loving,
sensitive, playful dog who loves us and enjoys life very much. We put a
lot of love and effort into bringing him out of his shell and helping
him find his "inner puppy" and we have been rewarded with a very sweet
kind soul in Chip. |
