TDR  Rana Akina

TDR Rana Akina (CJ) is an exceptionally special, bay, Purebred Arabian mare, who is a daughter of my beloved mare "Rana". She was 3 years old when her dam, Rana, passed away due to a severe intestinal torsion and surgery could not save her. She is a precious rare gem whom we love dearly! She is also very unique as she is a purebred Arabian with one blue eye and special markings called "back lacing", it is not scaring but lace like patterns that increases in size every year. It runs from above her withers down her spine to her tail; she is a sabino.

TDR Rana Akina was born on Tynan's 4th birthday at about 8 am on 4-2-99. To this day she has been our only foal ever born on Tynan's birthday. TDR Rana Akina is also exactly 28 days older than Anaiah.

TDR Rana Akina and Tynan are still close friends. Tynan chose her to be "her" horse and received TDR Rana Akina as a birthday gift for her 15th birthday.

In the photos below TDR Rana Akina (CJ) swam out to the middle of the lake pulling the tube, tube rider, and me with her. She is an exceptional swimmer and she had a lot of swim conditioning before she did this. She is one serious athlete with an incredible disposition and a passion for water sports!  See more photos on our WakeBoarding Page.

TDR Rana Akina being shown Sport Horse Under Saddle with Anaiah (11) 8/10 Anaiah showed her to multiple ribbons in Sport Horse In Hand as well. She was in foal at this show.
